I really love shopping at Amazon. It seems like whenever I want a book, a DVD or a CD, I can usually find it at Amazon for a very good price. They ship right away, and they have an excellent return policy if you change your mind or something arrives damaged. I just bought a DVD from Amazon that apparently got smooshed by the post office, so I had to return it. It was a snap to do. (You can read about that here.) But in the meantime... Considering it's not an aviation site, Amazon has a good selection of P-38 products available. Of course, they have books. That's how they got started in business, after all. But we also found a good number of P-38 models (including photo recon and pathfinder models). Nothing in the world brings back the 40's like the music, and Amazon has a tremendous selection from which to choose. Here are a few samples to listen to right at your computer. We also found a unique "baseball" card of Richard Bong. What a hoot. You can find that below in the ACES section. So, as you can see...lots to choose from. Have fun!

 P-38 BOOKS
NEW! Although this book is not strictly about the P-38, it got such great reviews we've included it here. A SONG AT A TIMEAmazon has a HUGE selection of music, and a great thing about them is that you can order JUST ONE SONG from an album if you want, and download it to your computer or a CD. Great Return PolicyWhen my poor DVD arrived crunched in half, I just went to my Amazon account, clicked on the proper (easy-to-follow) links, and voilà! I had the free return postage label to print out. I just popped the DVD back into the package it came in, taped this return label on it, and gave it to my letter carrier to take back. The replacement order arrived within a couple of days. (I have signed up for the "Amazon Prime" program, which you can read about below. It's a great deal if you order many things from Amazon.) modelsAmazon PrimeIf you order quite a few things from Amazon, the only way to go is to sign up for their "Amazon Prime" program. It's a flat fee per year (I think it's around $70 now), but for that entire year, you receive free 2-day shipping on all qualifying products. I've saved so much money on shipping doing this. And I never worry now if I forget something. I can go back and order it separately, it gets shipped separately, but there are still no shipping charges. Be sure to make sure your product qualifies for the free shipping (it always says so at the top of the page) -- I've never found a book, CD or DVD that didn't qualify.
