TONY LeVIER MONUMENT

The first thing you see when approaching the entrance to the Museum is a beautiful monument to Tony LeVier (learn more about LeVier here), the "shining star" of the P-38 Museum.

The monument is dedicated to and supported by the founding members of the Museum, as well as people like you.  While all donations are welcome (and needed), those who make a $250 donation to the Museum Hangar Fund will have their names etched on this beautiful monument -- a tribute which will, no doubt, outlast us all.

There are names etched on each of the four sides to the monument, and each side has a limited amount of space.

Here are examples of some of the names engraved on the structure. There are individuals, couples, sons and daughter, companies, squadrons and every combination you can imagine. You can make your donation in the name of someone else, or in their memory. All are welcome.

ADD YOUR NAME TO THE MONUMENT

We've already filled three sides of the monument, so now's a good time to act.   Once the space is gone, it's gone.  And it's a heck of a great cause -- the preservation of this magnificent WWII flying machine.

There are TWO easy ways to request your name or the name of a loved one's engraving:

  1. PERSONAL CHECK
    Amount: $250
Made payable to: "P-38 National Association"
    Mail to:
       P-38 National Association
       Attn: Monument
       PO Box 6453
       March ARB, CA 92518-0393

  2. CREDIT CARD

We accept credit card payments through our Association with PayPal's secure Online Services.  All charges are guaranteed against fraud.  Make donation now by clicking this button.

Please make sure to give us the correct spelling of the name you wish to have engraved on the monument.  We must also have your contact name, address and phone number (in case!).  If you have an e-mail address, all the better. We will not be using your personal information for anything other than the monument engraving, so you needn't worry. Here's our Privacy Policy guarantee.

Thanks for the help!

BACK TO MUSEUM PAGE

As our parents, grandparents and friends who were "hands on" with the P-38 Lightning are continuing to leave us, keeping this website available as a tribute to them is vital.  This aircraft was an important part of their lives and their history, and to carry on this legacy, we need funding.
We are not affiliated with the USAF or Lockheed and our entire operation is supported entirely by people like you.
What would you pay for a good aviation DVD or book? If you enjoy this website, please consider a financial contribution of the same amount to help defray our increasing costs and ensure that this part of aviation history continues to be available to people all over the world.
We have just added a page to thank our website's financial contributors. No donation is too small, after all $1 from a million visitors will keep us going a very long time!
